What is the pricing of sea island excursions with Cast Away Fishing Charters?

Inshore fishing charters start at a half-day (four hours), and price includes fishing licenses, bait, ice, water, safety gear and a cooler for snacks. And we clean your catch as a courtesy. If you would like to extend your sea island adventure, the cost is $100 for each additional hour. Gratuity is at your discretion.

We host our exclusive “Cast Away Fishin’ Tourney” aboard multiple boats, complete with a certificate, prize and bragging rights to the winning team.

What kind of fish can we expect to catch?

Cast Away Fishing Charter has a 24-foot vessel that allows us to maneuver in shallow flats, which is ideal for Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, Cobia and other nearshore and inshore species. Novices to seasoned anglers can reel in impressive trophy fish! The Lowcountry’s diverse saltwater ecosystem is unique and varied — great for year-round sea island adventures!

Is Cast Away FIshing Charters licensed and insured?

Yes! Cast Away Fishing Charter stays compliant with insurance and licensure — including USCG Captain’s license and commercial marine insurance to protect you and your family while on the water.

What if the weather is bad or circumstances outside my control force me to cancel my sea island adventure?

All of us at Cast Away Fishing Charters monitor the weather. Our sea island adventures are focused on superior customer service. We will accommodate your schedule for a relaxing and fun day on the water. 

As a small business with a high demand for our fishing charters, we enforce a strict cancellation and no-show policy:

  • Avoid a cancellation fee by canceling more than 48 hours in advance of departure
  • Your credit card will be charged the full amount of the trip for cancellations that occur 48 hours or less before departure; gift certificates and coupons are voided as well
  • We will accommodate movement of reservation dates when possible; we appreciate your cooperation
